Friday 1.30.09 <3

Where should i begin?

Ill start at Friday afternoon. I was at school in a class called Design Team II, it was a drag. We literally did nothing in the class. The teacher is a bit lame. Oh well. I get a text saying, "Banana Bay at 8." from Carlo and class wasn't so bad anymore; It reminded me that was something to look forward to after class.

I was only at school for 2 hours. I got home around 3pm. I decided to go to gym. After my workout consisting of pulling a pick up truck with only my teeth for half a mile, (not my actual work out, it just sounds funny) I decided to go to Target to buy some blank dvd disks for burning movies for the other kids. I also bought socks. Dvd and socks. When I was walking to the check out Carlo calls me and lets me know that Mars and Roey are going to Banana Bay already, so everyone was meeting up earlier. He also suggested i should carpool with Liz. Good idea. So i buy my socks and dvds and when i get home i call Liz and i let her know that ill be at her house so we can go together. She sounds really tired. So i start burning movies and i go take a shower.

Mmm so. I get to Lemon's (liz) house and we are on our way to Banana Bay! In the car Lemon and I talk about how we both want to learn how to breakdance. I tell her I have breakdance dvds. (haha, its true) and that we should learn how to breakdance together and we can make a routine up and straight up serve suckas! Maybe not the last part.

So we get to Banana Bay around 8:20pm (sorry guys) We are in the waiting area looking at the Koi fish and Lemon calls somebody to let everyone know that we have arrived. We smile, we hug and we get seated.

We get a booth seat all the way in the corner of the restaurant. There is an awesome band playing. The first 2 songs that were played when we got there were from blind people. Carlo made note of that and pretended he was blind. (stevie wonder blind) I tried to look blind too, but I looked stupid instead. So we all get settled and decide on what to eat. Lemon said she was craving pad thai and thai tea in the car. So she got that and her dreams came true. Roey ordered bbq pork something something aka #69. Carlo ordered Pad See-Ew. I ordered Crispy Chicken over Hainam Rice. And Mars orders some seafood dish. (or was it?)

So our food comes one by one. Mars seafood dish looked like Alien saliva. Roey is the last one to get her dish, #69. The waiter says, "#69?" Roey claims the 69. I hear the waiter say ennjooyyy. I didnt think much of it, but then again i didnt see the passion in his eyes that captivated Roey in his fleeting glance. And by captivated I actually mean creeped out.

We all make sample plates for everyone. Earlier Carlo and I discussed about ordering A La Carte. As we were making the sample plates Carlo and I joked that our dishes were "A La Gone." Mars gave a generous helping of her alien slime seafood...maybe more than we wouldve liked. haha. I see Liz with her arms out stretched as if she was trying to fly away, i didnt know what she was doing, but it looked funny. And then we eat.

Nearing the end of the dinner I tried to eat like a toddler, but that only made it looked like ive lost feeling in my hands. Then Carlo starts to eat his noodles in a way where he doesnt really eat it and we all laugh. A lot.

*now random things about dinner* air ribbons, thank you jesus, toothpick heirloom in wallet, eennnjjooyy with on going strange look walking backwards, contagious hand claps.

After dinner we go outside in the parking lot (a familiar place) and think of what to do next. Somewhere in the figuring out of what comes next, my hands get caressed by Mars. It was a little awkward at first because ive never had anyone like my hands so much, but throughout the night I learn to get use to it. We then all decide to go to Tea Bar which is across the parking lot. We watched people play a basketball game. Then we look at this corkboard infront of a clothing store with pictures on it. I pretend to strip the corkboard of all the pictures, then someone (Roey or Lemon) told me it looks like that dance i did once...or twice...then i stripped the board with the motion of the dance (which happens to look like a stripper move, which is fitting, i guess)

After tea bar stripping, Carlo suggest that we go to Barnes And Nobles. It was 10 or so, and it closes 11. We all go together in Carlo's car and we listen to our collective playlist. Float On by Modest Mouse comes on and Liz goes crazy. We exit the parking lot and Carlo makes a left turn and all the girls scream. We arrive at Barnes and Nobles and we make our way to the childern's section. Mars, Roey, and I see a book about a mouse looking for friends. We look through the book and towards the end we try to guess what animal he becomes friends with, he ends up being friends with a mouse. Carlo and Liz are at the art section which is right by the childerns section and we go to where they are. I go over and see what they are looking at. They are both sitting on the floor. Then an announcement comes on the speaker asking customers not to sit on the floor. (coincidence?) Roey and Mars are looking at a book about homes. I go over and look at it too. We made up stories of how the people lived in those homes for a few of the pictures. 11:00 is coming soon and we make our way to the exit while looking through different books.

We all get back in the car and decide where to go next. I said In and Out because the close at 2. (1:30am) We get at In and Out and thought it was a little weird. Then Carlo remembered that his parents dont t work tomrrow and we go to his house instead. (which is much better than hanging out at In N Out)

We all go back to Banana Bay parking lot and to our cars. Liz starts to sing the Milkshake song by Kelis (only the warm it up part). We make our way to Carlo's house. We all arrive and we go up the stairs to his front door, his dogs bark because they are excited. We say hi to his parents. I give his dad a hand shake and a man hug. I say hi to his mom she is cooking something. Then we all go upstairs and explore Carlo's amazing room. We all look inside his closet and we all wanted to live inside there. We settle down from the awesomeness of his room and play rock band.

We all failed pretty bad. Carlo tried to play Everlong by Foo Fighters on expert...i think liz was poking him with something and it looked like he had tourettes while he was playing. Later i played PDA by Interpol on drums and towards the end of the song Carlo told me to play like i had tourettes. FUCK SHIT BITCH! (not like that though) Eventually we all got tired of failing and decided to watch movies that I burned earlier.

We decided to watch 'Let The Right One In,' a Swedish vampire movie (by we i mean everyone except lemon, she doesnt like scary movies). We all try and get comfortable which is easy to do in Carlo's room. Liz and Carlo are on the couch, positioned like they were a couple...except Carlo was in a position that seem traditionally girly, laying on top of liz. Mars, Roey, and I were behind the couple on Carlo's bed laying on our stomachs. Liz laughed at something and Carlo told her not to laugh because it made him vibrate. Mars was under blankets. Lights are out and the movie starts.

After a little while I felt a little chilly and decided i wanted to get under the blankets too. Mars, Roey, and I figure out how we should all get under the blankets. I decided to slide under, but i ended up getting a little lost in the blankets. It all worked itself out. Underneath the blankets and in my head, i thought, how lucky am i right now. (hah) The movie moved at a gentle pace. I moved a lot sinking into the pillows and inbetween Mars and Roey. Mars got up to use the bathroom a lot. I did too. At one point upon re-entry i tried to get inbetween them as delicate as i could so they didnt notice me. They noticed. At one point we all touch carlo and at another we asked if Liz was alright because of some of the scenes.

This entry is getting really long. Whos gonna read this all?

After the movie ends we decide to do a double feature. The next movie was one of Carlo's favorites, 'Love Me If You Dare' he's seen it 4 times already. There is a slight intermission. Everyone repositions into the same positions. The movie starts and it all begins again.

I still move a lot. The breathing on my stomach was beginning to make me slightly uncomfortable. I try to watch side ways and i get lost in the blankets and inbetween again. Which i enjoyed quite a bit. Liz has her arm over Carlo and we all touch Carlo again for some reason. Liz falls asleep and they switch postions. Liz is on the couch with her legs over Carlo. After awhile Carlo falls asleep for a bit too. Mars, Roey, And I remain underneath the blanket. It all felt so very intimate. <3

We get through a good amount of 'Love Me If You Dare,' before we all get a little restless. The night was getting long. We all wanted to sleep where we were. Mars holds my hand again and rest her head on my right hand. While Roey exams my left to see what was so special. She didnt really understand. I didnt either. Liz is sound asleep with her legs still resting on carlo's lap. Nobody wanted the night to end.

Eventually we had to be on our seperate ways. Go to our own homes and sleep in our own beds. So we make plans to relive this moment in the future and make our way outside. We all stand around Carlo's drive way. We talk for a bit. We hug and we move along. As Liz, Roey, Mars, and I make our way to our cars. I realize i forgot my phone in Carlo's room. Mars calls Carlo. And i sit outside his door. He opens the door and i tell him that i did it on purpose so i could see him again. haha. He hands me Roey's glasses case. He goes back to finish his movie for a 5th time. I go back down the drive way and asked what was behind Roey's ear and I hand her the glasses case as if i pulled it behind her ear. It probably didnt look like that, but we can pretend.

We say another set of goodbyes to each other. And goodbye to an amazing night.
